REEL MEDIA GROUP’S HEAD OF SPORTS, BRAM WEINSTEIN, TO HOST NEW SPORTS RADIO TALK SHOW IN WASHINGTON DC

(JULY 12, 2016) – Reel Media Group Co-Owner and Senior VP of the company’s Sports Division, Bram Weinstein, announced yesterday that he will launch ‘The Bram Weinstein Show’ on ESPN 980 in Washington DC.  Previously, Weinstein held the position of Anchor/Reporter on ESPN’s Sportscenter.

“I want to share this exciting news with all of our partners, coaches and aspiring broadcasters.  I have accepted a host role replacing the legendary Tony Kornheiser in the 11am-1pm weekday slot.  This allows me to continue my broadcast career in my home of Washington D.C. for a station that I interned at while in college and worked at for seven years as a young professional, said Weinstein. It is an amazing honor to be asked to fill Tony’s shoes and is an incredible privilege to be able to do what I love on air in my home community.”

Weinstein began working with Reel Media in 2015 as the lead broadcast coach for former NBA star, Joe Smith.  He has since co-created sports broadcasting programs for professional athletes seeking sports professionals seeking a career in broadcasting and led the company’s partnership with the National Basketball Retired Players Association.

“The best part of this job is that it is flexible thus my role as the head of sports for Reel Media will go unchanged.  I am looking forward to continuing to build this company into an elite media agency.  I couldn’t envision not being part of its amazing growth.”

“Bram has been an incredible addition to this company.  His newest role will only bring added value to our broadcast training and programs.  I couldn’t be more thrilled for him and his new on-air adventure and the expansion of Reel Media, said Reel Media Founder, Stephanie Siegel.”

Reel Media will be in Las Vegas hosting it’s first Sports Broadcast Bootcamp for NBA Legends July 17-19th.  The Bram Weinstein show will begin on July 25th on ESPN 980.  You can listen live at www.espn980.com.
